Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials as a child. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actorsworkshop held located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton at an Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she's ready to go back to her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
