Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson was the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, an American physician and Thelma B. Burnell Henson. Michele Carey, or Michele Lee Henson, was first born on February 26, 1942, in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. In her teens, she was an expert pianist and took home a national contest at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only thirteen years old. She settled at Fort Collins, Colorado with her family.
